Caedite Eos is pleased to present a various artists EP for its second vinyl release.
The one in charge of opening this second EP is _asstnt from Madrid, co-owner of the label Opera
2000, who has released on labels such as Mord, Mintrip and Involve Records. This time he brings
us his track "Purgatory", the perfect intro for the release where he shows us his more
experimental side and without a doubt a different style than what we are used to hear from him.
The next tune on the release is "Ex Nunc" from label head SlugoS, an artist who has recently
released music on influential labels such as Soma Records, Industrial Strength, Opera 2000,
among others soon to be announced. This time he presents us with a renewed and experimental
hard techno track but faithful to the mental and elegant essence of his latest releases.
The B-side opens with the song "Ironbrick" by the Finnish old school hard techno artist Leo Laker,
someone who is already a classic reference in the scene. Leo has been releasing his music for 25
years on labels like Tresor, Carnage and Cannibal Society and this time he offers us a hard techno
track impregnated with his style, a sound loyal to his roots and that reminds us of his origins as a
producer.
To close this EP we have the track "Empty Lives" by the Madrid artist Voight Kampff, also a
veteran producer of the Madrid hard techno scene. He presents us with a lost track that was
produced more than 10 years ago, a complete dancefloor killer that was probably misunderstood
in the past but nowadays arrives stronger than ever.
